In Greater Williamsburg, we introduced the Family Funologist—a pint-sized “vacation psychologist.” Parents showed up for a serious consult about fixing family fun; when the “doctor” arrived, it was a sharp, straight-talking kid in an orange swivel chair prescribing coasters, kayak mornings, and even dropping the kids at Grandma’s for a romantic night out. The TV/digital series reframed planning as play and promised fun for everyone—a simple, memorable way to help families see Williamsburg as the cure for overplanned vacations.
